This Work is Personal
I didn’t take a traditional path
I’ve reinvented myself across industries, continents, and chapters of life.
I grew up on a sheep farm in South Canterbury, New Zealand—learning early how to explore, question, and imagine something bigger.
Since then, I’ve lived in seven countries and thirteen cities. I’ve moved across the world on my own, more than once.
I spent nearly two decades in academia, teaching business communication and journalism, and writing for global publications like The Economist, Financial Times, and The Guardian.
And then I chose to start again.
Because I saw something clearly:
So many brilliant people were holding themselves back—not because they lacked ability, but because they struggled to communicate it.
